* COMMENTARY *
We found this beautiful lady hanging out in one of the mare paddocks at the Committee grounds. Hanging her head over the fence, waiting for her special someone to notice her and take her home, when she saw me she immediately pricked her ears and nickered as I got closer. I knew this girl was going to be something special with her beautiful looks, compact frame, and she popped with eye appeal. She had to have been a Dressage horse at one point, as we put Bette through her paces once we found a clear spot to move her around, she moved out like a dream! After bringing her home I couldn't wait and had to saddle her up. Bette is very well trained and knows her stuff under saddle, soft and supple, I'm betting she could have done Grand Prix at one time, but now she's retired to the breeding barn. She will no doubt be a rock star broodmare once her foals hit the show ring, we just know it!!
