I have gone completely crazy!! I have been thinking of how sad it is that Bavenwood's Morgan herd is so scrawny. After dispersing most of my old Morgan herd in an attempt to cut horse numbers, I did away with literally hours, days and years of blood, sweat, tears and endless hard work to make our herd what it was. I'm now kicking myself for pulling such an insane stunt. So after much hair pulling, head aching thought I've decided to bring Morgans back full time!! Yes I know, we have Working Western and Sport Morgans, but I mean Morgans trained in ALL appropriate disciplines; including putting together another finely chosen team to head straight into the 2021 CDE Circuit!! So you might say 2021 is going to be Year of the Morgan around Bavenwood at least. We plan on bringing back everything from Saddleseat, Driving, Pleasure, the works!!! I just miss having a large number of Morgans around, so that will be changing in the future!
And a look ahead to the Holiday season, the staff at Bavenwood will be working extra hard to feature a nice assortment of quality stallions for your breeding pleasure!! I will try my hardest to get show records updates, show points calculated and babies added; if they have any!! So stay tuned for that!!
Last but not least, 2021 brings about the retirement of some great horses!! Although they themselves will be stepping away from the show pen, their foals will continue the girls r show ring legacy!! I'm making a list of who will be saying fair well to showing and hello to breeding, these horses will be announced later this year or early next year, I haven't figured out just when to announce this! But again, stay tuned, and have a great weekend!!!
