Commentary
Twisty here is an ideal example of the kind of American Warmbloods we at Bavenwood Farm are striving very hard to produce! She is conformationally correct with little or no physical flaws. She is super intelligent and quick to learn, she's a little spooky at times, but she's getting better! We've done a lot with her, taking her alongside the road, she deals with the dogs; ours and our boarders, she's getting better at walking over a tarp and having it flung over her back, flapped around her, etc. She knows we're not trying to hurt her, but there's still that bit of fear. And she may never get over thunderstorms, those are just freaky plain and simple to any animal, and I can't really blame her. She tends to hide out in her stall when we get those crazy storms. But all in all she's a sweetheart to work with, and has started under saddle. Next year will be her big year to start under saddle showing as we may try her out in Dressage before moving her up to Eventing, but we'll see. I would LOVE to have her in Driven Dressage, but she has time, she's only a baby right now, but she'll grow up to be a drop dead gorgeous Sporthorse!!!
