Murky clouds, cold weather and rain are here once again in the Evergreen State; or Forevergreen State I call it!! After several torrential down pours later our pastures and outdoor arenas are now mud pits!! It'll take awhile for them to dry out completely; say by next June maybe!! Luckily the indoor arena is still in one piece and very usable!!
We have a new barn under construction as we speak, luckily we got the foundation in before the freeze otherwise our foundation would be mush cause concrete and freezing weather do not mix!!! Anyways, this barn will be the new home of our Working Western horses. One side is for Breeding horses, the other for show horses. Currently Bavenwood houses 44 Working Western Stock Horses, and that number will be steadily growing in the coming year. 2020 is the year of the Working Western horses here at Bavenwood. But the installment of this new barn is actually more of a sister farm to Bavenwood under the banner of Cowhorses Unlimited which I ran years ago in All-Sim!! So CU is back and better than ever in my opinion. We also have plans of adding Arabian and Morgan Reining horses to the mix. Bavenwood already has a small number of Morgan Reiners with the hopes of acquiring many more in the future!! We haven't dabbled in the Arabian Reiners in a long time and are excited to get involved with them once again!!!
So keep your eyes peeled for new installments from Bavenwood and Cowhorses Unlimited in the coming months!!!
