** COMMENTARY **
One of our very first Miniature mares to arrive at Bavenwood and we couldn't be more excited about her! Yeah she's up there in age, but what the heck right, at least she's still able to produce a few foals for us and can just look pretty in the pasture as well! She's an awesome babysitter for the younger foals when they have been separated from their mothers. She's usually the one nominated to help them settle when distressed and it usually always works. Shade is definitely a miracle worker and loves interacting with the youngsters! She's even a human youngster lover!! She just can't get enough of them and always wants to be around them, its pretty funny! Shade is definitely a clown and sometimes acts like a 3 year old instead of a nearly 20 year old! She's a spunky old girl!
