About the foal:
Chalcedony CH combines the beautiful best of both Egyptian lines and Polish lines - form and function wrapped up in a refined and athletic package! She is more substantial than a typical Egyptian Arabian, but still refined and expressive. Narym usually stamps his foals cookie-cutter, but this lovely filly took after her dam more this time, which isn't a bad thing! She has long legs, stretchy neck, beautiful face, and free movement with spring enough to catch any judges eye in the dressage arena. She is a very classy horse.
About the lineage:
Chalcedony CH's sire is a young superstar of C&H. HOF Narym WMA++++/ came to us as a weanling in 2002 and worked his way up to being the youngest Arabian awarded the Legion of Masters title. He has multiple National Championships, World Championships, and AHA Awards to his credit, as well as being a consistent top siring AHA stallion. Most recently he became the first HF horse in well over a decade to earn the distinction of the "/" in his name for having over 3,000 AHA points. He is well on his way to earning a second one.
Chalcedony CH's dam, *Cylvanna, doesn't have much of a show record at a glance, just one Reserve National Championship. What makes this mare incredibly special is that she is the dam of multiple major champions in HF, most notably the outstanding stallion LL Cyrano++++. *Cylvanna is also the dam of LL Chantrya+/ who is Trakehner broodbook approved in HF, making Cylvanna the only Arabian mare with two Trakehner approved offspring. Cyrano went on to be approved for FIVE warmblood studbooks, the only HF Arabian stallion to have done so.
