This guy was a totally awesome gift! We received him from HF's 2012 Secret Santa program and we couldn't be happier!! We researched his past show records and didn't come up with anything very spectacular except for some shows entered as a young colt. We decided he deserved a second chance in the show ring and started retraining him for the Hunter ring; which he seems to be a natural for! Yeah he has his moments; like all males do, can be a real knucklehead sometimes and hard to handle, but we still love him. He's also got his good moments during training where he actually lets you get inside his thick horsey skull and performs what you ask of him perfectly. In these moments, he is an absolutely fabulous horse to ride! Like we said before, we decided totally against retiring him to stud because he's got so much potential as a Hunter horse with his scopey way of jumping and talent, he just didn't deserve to be put out to pasture!
Now he is ready for the show ring and already has his first foal on the ground! A lovely, lively daughter who is burning up the track and we are very proud of her! Out of our exceptionally bred Committee Adoptee mare Awesome Storm comes the gorgeous mare Stormy Reality BWF! Placing 2nd in her very first race, we have hopes that this lovely girl will be a super dirt horse and have the chance to compete in the major dirt races in the future!! His second foal; another grand filly by the name of Unselfish Exploit BWF out of our lovely Show Jumping mare Explode! This girl is heading to the Hunter ring just like daddy and we'll see how she turns out!! More foals to come in the future!
