COMMENTARY
Jewel is a beautiful example of the big bodied Stock Horse type Morgan Horses who worked the range many years ago, back before the Quarter Horses were a big thing! She exemplifies what breeders are trying to produce while also keeping the cowy compact look of a well bred cowhorse with beauty, muscles and brains! We acquired this little lady from a friend who never showed her, but was lucky enough to have gotten her registered so she could still have babies. We have started working her with our very small herd of Angus/Pinzgauer calves and she is the total package!! We couldn't be happier with her and plan to get a few babies out of her before full retirement!!
